The Capital Sports Report: Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden Helps University of Delaware Men’s Soccer Raise Funds to Prevent Child Abuse
WILMINGTON, Del. — The University of Delaware men’s soccer coaching staff once again took part in the fourth annual 5k run to raise funds and build awareness for Prevent Child Abuse Delaware (PCAD) on July 7.
Despite hot and humid conditions the race had a great turnout of runners of all ages at Rockford Park in Wilmington. Among those taking part in the festivities was Delaware Attorney General General Beau Biden, son of U.S. Vice-President Joe Biden.
“We are always delighted to help any cause that has a benefit for children” commented University of Delaware head coach Ian Hennessy, who will begin his fifth season at the helm this fall.
