About
Beau Biden - lifelong public servant dedicated to his duty of protecting Delaware's families.
Welcome to Beau Biden’s online campaign headquarters. Please take a look around the site to learn more about Beau and how you can help his campaign.
Beau has been working to protect children and punish criminals since the beginning of his law career. He spent five years as a federal prosecutor and also is a Major in the Delaware Army National Guard’s 261st Theater Tactical Signal Brigade.
Since being elected Attorney General in 2006, Beau has worked tirelessly to help government fulfill its core mission of protecting the public. To him, that means protecting the most vulnerable among us – children and senior citizens.
Beau’s focus to protect children from those seeking to prey on them led to the creation of a Child Predator Unit within the Department of Justice, tougher mandatory prison sentences for child pornographers and recognition from the federal government as a national leader in keeping kids safe. To stand up for seniors, Beau launched the Senior Protection Initiative, which has increased awareness of senior abuse and provided special training to law enforcement officers.
On top of protecting kids and seniors, Beau’s priorities include:
- 1 Fighting violent crime
- 2 Helping consumers who been the victims of fraud and
- 3 Protecting Delaware’s environment from those seeking to destroy it.
Please read more Beau’s accomplishments in his first term and plans he has for the future in the Issues section of this site.
A Delaware native, Beau graduated from Archmere Academy before earning his undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania and his law degree from the Syracuse University College of Law. He and his wife Hallie live in Wilmington with their two children, Natalie and Hunter.
